When applying or quick applying to a job, you may be asked for some vital information and encounter a popup asking you about your work rights in Australia, the country in which you are currently located, your preferred work location in Australia, origin of your passport country and work rights that you may have for any other country.

Apply

WorkinAUS provides you with a fundamental yet efficient functionality for submitting job applications, accessible through the universally available "Apply" button featured on all the advertised jobs listing. This conventional method typically involves a structured process, spanning two to three steps, aimed at enabling you to present yourself effectively.

The Layout

In the top bar of the job apply process, Company logo, job title, company name, industry category and subcategory, salary range and salary type are displayed on the left side whereas on the right side step number and its description is displayed which will change as you proceed with the job apply steps.

Below the top bar we the layout is divided into three different sections. On the left side, you are presented with your Personal details, selection of your resume, option to add a video cover letter (optional) and option to include a textual cover letter (optional).

Whereas over the right side, you have a section in which job description is displayed with the share icon to share the job.

Job description is then followed by the Live preview of the information/ items that you have submitted and will be available to employer/ recruiter once the job apply process is complete.

Applying a job

When utilizing the Apply button, you are guided through a series of steps, commencing with the submission of your personal information and submitting your resume either selecting from the list of uploaded resumes or uploading & submitting a new one. Additionally, you have the option to include supplementary materials such as a video cover letter or a textual cover letter, depending on your preference and the specific requirements of the job listing. Quick Apply

This feature is especially beneficial for you seeking immediate job opportunities and enables you to submit your applications swiftly with minimal effort.

The Quick Apply button is prominently displayed on job listings if the employer/ recruiter has opted to enable this option for the advertised position. When you opt for Quick Apply, you typically encounter a straightforward process, typically comprising of just a single step. However, in certain cases, the Quick Apply process may extend to two steps if the employer/ recruiter has included additional questions for you to answer.

The Quick Apply process typically involves you providing essential information to accompany your application. This may include submitting your resume

or responding to a set of four simple questions. These questions are designed to gather basic information about your professional background and qualifications. Common questions may include your last role in your the company, your highest level of education, total years of experience, and your availability in Australia.
