Payment Methods

This article provides instructions on how to configure your default payment type and add credit cards as a payment method on WorkinAUS. Upon signing up for WorkinAUS, the system automatically designates Credit Card as the default payment type. However, if you prefer Invoice to be your default payment type, you can reach out to WorkinAUS support to enable and set the invoice option for you. This ensures that your payment preferences align with your specific needs and preferences.

Below, we'll outline the process of adding a credit card as your payment method and setting it as the default payment method, ensuring that it automatically appears as selected in all of your future transactions.

Add Card

Click the "Add Card" button to open the "Add New Payment Method" form, where you can enter the credit card details. After entering the credit card information and clicking the "Add Payment Method" button, the system will add the card and display it under the "Payment Methods" section. It's important to note that the credit card information entered is saved securely with STRIPE; WorkinAUS does not store this information.

As soon as the credit card information is saved, the system will automatically set as default. You can have multiple credit cards as your payment methods associated with your account but only one could be set as default.

Saved payment methods are displayed in a grid format, let’s discuss about it in detail:

  • Items

This column presents the brand icon of the credit card issuer alongside the name of the issuer. The brand icon typically depicts the logo or emblem associated with the credit card network or issuer, providing you with visual identification of the card brand.

  • Card End

This column showcases the last four digits of the saved payment method(s) associated with your WorkinAUS account. By displaying only the last four digits, the column provides a concise and secure representation of your payment method, without revealing the full card number. This allows you to quickly identify and differentiate between multiple saved payment methods, enhancing convenience and ease of use when selecting a payment method for transactions on the platform.

  • Expiry Date

This column presents the expiry date of your saved payment method(s), which you entered during the process of adding a new payment method. The expiry date indicates the month and year when the payment method is set to expire. By displaying this information, you can easily track the validity period of your saved payment methods and ensure you are using up-to-date payment information for transactions on the WorkinAUS platform.

  • Action

This column displays three dots, which, when clicked, provide you with options to manage your payment methods. If you have multiple payment methods added to your account, you can use this feature to set a specific payment method as the default. Additionally, you can delete any payment method that you no longer wish to use for transactions on the WorkinAUS platform.

It's important to note that if Credit Card is set as your default payment type, there must be at least one payment method associated with your account, and the system does not allow you to delete it. This ensures that there is always a valid payment method available for processing transactions, maintaining the continuity of your payment capabilities on the platform.

If your Default Payment Type is set to Invoice, there are no additional settings or options available for managing payment methods. In this case, the system operates solely with the Invoice payment method, and you do not need to add or set a default payment method.

With Invoice as the default payment type, you are typically billed periodically based on your usage or subscription plan, and payment is processed through invoicing. The system generates invoices for transactions, which you are responsible for paying according to the agreed-upon terms and conditions.

But being Invoice as your Default Payment Type, you still can switch to Credit Card as your default payment type and could maintain your payment methods.
